Carbonated drink lines can involve compressed air, CO₂, pressurised product vessels or bowls, pipework, electrical controls, moving conveyors, capping or seaming heads, wet floors and cleaning chemicals. A final risk assessment must be completed for the actual installation by competent people with knowledge of the site and process.

UK buyers should review whether their installation falls under applicable pressure-system duties. The machine supplier can provide machinery information, but the owner or user must make sure the installed system is assessed, examined and operated safely under the relevant site obligations.
- Confirm guards and interlocks are in place before trial running.
- Check emergency stops, isolators and normal stop routines.
- Train operators on pressure release, cleaning access and fault response.
- Do not operate outside agreed safe limits or bypass safeguards.
