Filler to closure interface
Plan the handoff from fill valve to crowner, capper or can seamer.
The point immediately after filling is one of the highest-risk stages in a carbonated drink line. The pack is full, foam may still be moving and the closure must be applied without delay or disturbance. A good specification therefore treats the filler, conveyor transfer and closure machine as one system.
For glass bottles, the project may involve a crown, screw cap or ROPP closure. For PET, cap torque and bottle support need particular attention. For cans, the filled can must move to seaming with the correct support, lid presentation and headspace control. The right interface depends on container geometry, product temperature, carbonation level and the acceptance checks agreed with Lancing.

Why does the filler-to-closure handoff matter?
Carbonated drinks can foam, lose presentation quality or pick up oxygen if the filled pack is delayed or disturbed before closure.
Is the same interface used for bottles and cans?
No. Bottles need a cap, crown or ROPP route, while cans need lid presentation and seaming compatibility.
What samples should be supplied?
