For bottles, the neck finish, cap liner, crown, ROPP shell, thread, tamper band and capper type affect the equipment route. For cans, the can body and end specification, filled-can transfer and seamer setup are central to package integrity.

A filler may appear suitable in isolation but fail in production if the pack cannot be transferred smoothly to closing, if the capper cannot handle the closure consistently, or if the product foams before the package is sealed. Treat the filler, closer, conveyor handoff and inspection method as one production route.
